Welcome to my current site for everything to do with Garden Railways, now with it's own website domain.

I have not had much time to keep the site up-to-date just lately as I have been working on the development of a wholly new interactive website which will feature a comprehensive manual entitled "Building Your Garden Railway". It is taking far longer to write and edit than I expected but hopefully, will be worth the wait. Full details will be announced later in the year.

This site is intended as a "one-stop shop" for everything to do with garden trains. The main aim being to pull together guidance material on how to plan, build and run your garden layout and present it in a straightforward and informative style complete with links to other websites of particular interest to the large scale modeller.

However, there will also be new product announcements and industry news.as well as plenty of videos and photographs of model railroads from all over the world to provide ideas and inspiration as to what can be achieved. The site will also feature content covering the real thing for those who simply like watching  trains in action.

Populating the site will be a gradual process and will depend on the time I have available to edit everything but hopefully there will always be something new to interest you sufficiently to return again and again. Please explore the site by clicking on the relevant tab(s) in the heading. The layout has been re-arranged using sub-heading pages to make it easier to find the page you might be interested in.

In case you haven't seen this video clip already I am sharing on the front page. Just demonstrates how well engineered LGB locomotives are in the wet weather.

This superb North American Narrow Gauge Model Railroad is constructed in 0n30 scale but is probably one of the best layouts you are likely to find - the detail is exceptional. It serves as in inspiration to all modellers in any scale as to the realism that can be achieved and possibly translated to a garden environment in Large Scale.
