CLUBS & SOCIETIES

Even if you are not a 'Club' person you can still gain valuable information on all aspects of the hobby by joining a G Scale Club or Society on the world-wide web. Most of them are free to access or only require a modest annual subscription and contain masses of useful information, expert articles, forums, supplier links, product reviews, etc.

The  two best sites in the UK are probably those run by the G Scale Society and G Scale Central , both of which cover a vast amount of useful stuff including a selection of articles, product reviews, photographs and videos. These portals are also a good way of locating clubs and societies in your area which are always on the lookout for new members.

If you are interested in American Outline Railroading then I recommend My Large Scale and  Large Scale Online (LSOL).

The former is a long established site catering for all large scale enthusiasts (it is a broad church) whilst the latter is a fairly new presence originally a joint venture

between Large Scale Online (LSOL) and St. Aubin (who then claimed to be the #1 Large Scale Garden Trains Dealer in the world!). Unfortunately St. Aubin

appears to have relinquished it's number one status and gone out of business which is a great shame as they provided competition for Trainworld.
