I have only belatedly discovered the excellent Great Scenic Railroad Journey programme series being shown by the Travel Channel at weekends. Great Scenic Railway Journeys (www.gsrj.com) is an Emmy Award Winning Public Television series that profiles some of the worlds most historic and scenic tourist railways.
The series is produced by Emmy Award winner Robert C. Van Camp and hosted by Grammy Award winning musician and story teller David Holt. So far railroads in the USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand.
