OTHER EVENTS PLANNED FOR MARCH 2104

15th - 18th March The Midlands Garden Railway Show, Warwickshire Exhibition Centre, Nr. Leamington Spa, CV31 1XN  10 am - 4 pm Daily

On the weekend of Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September 2013 the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway held a Steam Gala to celebrate their Golden Anniversary– 50 years of passenger operations as a Narrow Gauge Preservation line.  It proved to be a very special weekend for the narrow gauge enthusiast with an intensive timetable on both days and all of their working locomotives in steam.

To coincide with this special Anniversary Gala a Garden Railway Exhibition was also held in the nearby Llanfair leisure Centre featuring 8 large-scale working layouts and over 40 specialised traders in attendance.

This assemblage of video clips has been put together in an attempt to convey some of the activities at the latter event. I hope to upload a video of the events at the Steam Gala on Sunday in a day or so.
